Minya security forces arrested 14 members of the Muslim Brotherhood for violating protest law and rioting.
The arrest comes as part of a security crackdown launched under security chief Mohamed Sadel Helbawi.
Some 12 arms, 33 bullets and five white weapons were also seized during the operation.
