As many as 15 Daesh militants were killed Thursday in Tikrit, northwest of Baghdad, in fierce clashes with Iraqi security forces.
Police clashed with Daesh fighters and killed them, security sources said.
Meantime, eight Daesh militants were killed and wounded in Saladin Province, north of Baghdad, in clashes with tribal members.
