Military spokesman Brigadier Mohamed Samir announced Tuesday killing of 15 terrorist elements in security campaigns in North Sinai over the past three days.
In a statement, Samir said security fores managed to foil a suicide attack to bomb Sheikh Zowayed police station, adding that the suicide bomber was eliminated before carrying out the attack.
He said that seven elements wanted by security were arrested along with 29 suspects.
The military spokesman said a 5-kg bomb was dismantled and a border tunnel was destroyed along with several plateles cars and 18 motorbikes used by terror elements in carrying out terrorist operations.
