As many as 15 members of the terrorist Brotherhood group were detained for 15 days pending investigations over charges of joining a banned group and instigating violence during the anniversary of January 25 Revolution.

Earlier, Sharqiya security chief Hassan Seif received a report which said that several members of the Brotherhood group in Shaqriya plan to carry out protests and commit sabotage acts during the anniversary of January 25 Revolution.

Several ambushes were set up throughout the governorate and the suspects were arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution for investigations.
