Fifteen medium-ranking leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood have been arrested in several governorates on Sunday.
Other members of the terrorist group were detained over charges of inciting violence.
In Cairo and Alexandria, 17 MB members were arrested over planned attack on police and the army.
Egypt designated the MB as terrorist group in December 2013 and blamed it for a series of deadly attack on police, the Armed Forces and state facilities.
Top leaders of the group along with ordinary members have been tried and sentenced over different cases.
