North Sinai security forces have killed 15 takfiri elements during a wide-scale security campaign in southern Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah, well-placed security sources said on Friday.
Six vehicles, including a stolen ambulance, which were used to attack security forces, were destroyed in the campaign.
Aircraft were used in storming hotbeds of terrorists, the sources said.
