An Aswan prosecution on Tuesday remanded 16 members belonging to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group in custody for four days pending investigations.
The MB members, including four Awqaf imams, are accused of calling on citizens to take part in Nov. 28 protests, spreading chaos and disturbing public security.
Meanwhile, Aswan security forces arrested a person over urging citizens to stage anti-state protests.
