Some 17 Daesh militants were killed on Tuesday during Armed Forces' operations in Anbar province, a statement issued by the Iraqi Defense Ministry said.

The statement said that 12 Daesh suicide bombers and two snipers were among the dead.

Four Deash headquarters, five cars and various arms were destroyed, the statement added.

Also, the Iraqi forces defused 15 explosive devices and dealt with 12 booby-trapped houses, the statement said.
