Seventeen Daesh militants were killed in an Iraqi army air strike in Kirkuk, in the north of Iraq, on Saturday.
Army jets shelled Daesh sites in southeastern Kirkuk, leaving the 17 militants dead, security sources said.
Meanwhile, an elderly Iraqi man killed a Daesh element in Baqubah city to avenge his wife's murder at the hands of the group three days ago.
