As many as 17 Palestinians injured from the Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip arrived in Egypt via Rafah border crossing to receive treatment in Egyptian hospitals, said an official source at the terminal.
They were escorted with their families and ambulances were waiting for them on the Egyptian side of the borders to take them to hospitals for treatment.
The Egypt-Gaza Rafah crossing has been opened for receiving humanitarian cases from Gaza and offering relief aid supplied to the conflict-hit enclave.
