Seventeen people wee killed and scores others injured in clashes between Popular Resistance Committees and Houthi militants in southern Yemen on Saturday.

The news was carried by Sky News Arabia without giving further details.

The Popular Resistance Committees are loyal to Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

Also, a car bomb hit a Houthi-controlled mosque in the Yemeni capital Sanaa, killing two and injuring others according to an initial toll.
