Security campaigns nationwide targeting terrorist elements led to the arrest of 17 accused of participating in hostile acts against police stations and vital establishments.

Also, eight members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood were arrested in Giza, Fayyoum and Menoufia for planning attacks against police and army troops and vital institutions.
