Mansoura Criminal Court has sentenced 17 members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group to life imprisonment and one to five years in jail over violence, terrorism and attempted murder.

The defendants were arrested during a demonstration in Mansoura.

Arms were found in their possession during the demonstration during which they chanted anti-police and army slogans.
