A criminal court in Banha, Qaloubiya, sentenced 13 defendants to three months and four women to three-month suspended terms over charges of unlawful assembly and a bid to storm a security building.

Fifty persons have rallied outside the security directorate in Banha to protest a court decision extending the imprisonment of their relatives for a week over a case. They blocked traffic outside the building, threw stones at the security directorate and assaulted guards.
