As many as 1,700 Egyptian pilgrims arrived at Safaga Port, the Red Sea, on Monday after performing Umrah (small pilgrimage) in Saudi Arabia.
They arrived at Safaga Port from the Saudi port of Yanbu, said Safaga Port Director Mahmoud Abdel-Khaleq.
All facilities were provided for the pilgrims during their arrival, he added.
