As many as 18 members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group were arrested nationwide Tuesday, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

They were arrested over charges of attacking public and private institutions, taking part in and instigating hostile actions against police and army nationwide, the statement added.

Meantime, 13 wanted extremists were arrested.
