Eighteen middle-ranking leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group were arrested as part of intensive security measures to nab elements and restore order and security across the country.

The arrests were made over their involvement in attacks against public and private institutions as well as violence incitement across Egypt.

All legal procedures were taken against the terror elements and the prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
