Security forces arrested within the past 24 hours 18 middle-ranking Muslim Brotherhood leaders over charges of inciting violence and attacking public and private facilities.

Six MB members were also detained over planning attacks on police and army forces and vital institutions.

During security campaigns nationwide, 15 extremists were arrested over different counts of violence
