Eighteen terrorists were killed in al Nebaie area in northern Baghdad on Tuesday and seven others were injured in ongoing security operations, Baghdad operations commander Abdel Ameer al Shemari said.
Several streets in Baghdad have been reopened to traffic in coordination with the Baghdad operations command and life is getting back to normal in the capital, he said.
Sheikh Maarouf Street in al Alawi was reopened after stability has been restored in the capital and to ease traffic jams in the area, he said.
