Gaza City - MENA
As many as 183 Palestinian worshipers left the Gaza Strip, heading for the occupied East Jerusalem to perform Friday prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites.
They would cross Erez Crossing between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
In October, Israel allowed Palestinians over the age of 60 from the coastal enclave to enter the holy mosque and return on the same day.
The crossing, which partially opens on Friday, is being used for individuals but only for humanitarian cases.
