Prosecutors on Tuesday ordered 19 supporters of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood to be remanded in custody for more 15 days in Gharbiya in northern Egypt over rioting charges.
The were accused of instigating violence, disrupting public security and belonging to an outlawed group.
In December 2013, the government declared the Muslim Brotherhood a 'terrorist organization', blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide, including their regular protests.
Most leaders along with thousands of members of the group have been tried and sentenced so far.
