Two bombs detonated while a third planted beneath a pylon in Manshaet el Fayyoum village was defused by sappers on Sunday.

Fayyoum Assistant Security Director Younis el Gaher was notified about an explosion in Manshaet el Fayyoum village near the ring road in Fayyoum. Civil defense teams rushed to the scene and discovered two home-made bombs and a third bomb which they defused.

The explosion did not leave any casualties or material damage except for the base of the pylon.
