Two brothers were shot dead Friday while accompanying a police officer in Arish, North Sinai.
The policeman was the target of unknown armed men who opened fire at the target's car, but he survived the attack, security sources said.
Meantime, two vehicles driven by unknown militants exchanged fire with a checkpoint near Arish city, but fled the area leaving nobody injured, according to eyewitnesses.
