Two bus drivers on Thursday were sentenced to 11 years in jail and fined LE 50,000 each over charges of killing by mistake 38 persons and injuring 41 others in a collision of the buses they drove.
Prosecution accused the drivers of injuring and murdering by mistake their passengers as they were driving under the influence of drugs.
In August, a horrible collision took place on El-Tur - Sharm El-Sheikh road leaving 38 persons killed and 41 others, including four tourists, injured.
