Two boats, belonging to Daesh, were destroyed in the Iraqi city of Salahuddin, security sources said on Friday.

A federal police force blew up the boats and all militants on board were killed during their attempt to sneak into Tikrit, the sources added.

Meanwhile, Iraqi security forces, backed by tribal fighters, repelled an attack by Daesh militants west of Ramadi, where 23 terrorists were killed and seven armored vehicles destroyed.
