An Egyptian woman and her husband were killed Monday when they suffocated due to a gas leakage in their house, according to a statement issued by the Jordanian civil defense's general directorate on Monday.

The accident left also a one-year child suffering from shortness of breath, the statement read.

Th bodies of the Egyptians were received by the forensic medicine, while the child was transferred to hospital to receive treatment.
