Two subsequent explosions were heard Sunday in Baghdad, said MENA reporter in the Iraqi capital.
The blasts were followed by heavy gunfire, the reporter added.
No casualties have been reported so far. Ambulances and police rushed to the scene.
Earlier in the day, seven people were injured in a double explosion in central Baghdad.
