Hundreds of North Sinai residents attended on Monday a funeral held for Captain Amr Shoukry, who was killed in a terrorist attack on a police station in Arish city.

North Sinai Governor Abdel Fattah Ahrhour and Security Chief Ali Azazi along with a number of security leaders were also present at the funeral service.

Mourners chanted anti-terror slogans.

In Qalyubia governorate, residents of Al Qalg village attended a military funeral held for police officer Ahmed Radi who was slain in an explosive device blast in Arish city.

A number of military leaders participated in the procession.
