Two Israeli gunboats violated Lebanon's territorial waters on Thursday.

One of the vessels sailed for a distance of 240 meters and the other went 250 meters off Ras al-Naqoura, according to a statement by the Lebanese army on Friday.

The army is coordinating action with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in the wake of the incident, the statement added.
