Cairo - XINHUA
Two Egyptians were killed in clashes instigated between security forces and supporters of the deposed President Mohamed Morsi in Cairo's eastern al-Marg district, state- run Ahram newspaper said on its website.
It said at least four others were wounded in the clashes, but did not give further details.
Since the ouster of Morsi last July over massive protests, his supporters have been regularly staging protests, especially on Fridays, the country's weekends, despite a massive security crackdown that left about 1,000 killed and thousands of others arrested over the past 10 months.
But recently, pro-Morsi protests are diminishing due to mounting security measures in the country.
Ex-military chief Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, who led Morsi's removal, was elected president late last month.
