Two terrorists were killed Thursday night in Madinet el Salam, a security source said Friday, adding that both are dangerous elements of the terrorist Beit al Maqdes group.
The National Security Sector had been pursuing the two elements for a while now, the Interior Ministry source told MENA.
Both elements had taken part in a number of terrorist operations, including the assassination of a brigadier-general of the Armed Forces on November 28, the source said.
The two had explosive belts and bombs on them, he added.
Security troops are still combing the area in search for two fugitives who were with the killed elements.
