Qalyoubiya police have arrested two elements of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group in Shobra el Khaima.
They had makeshift bombs in their possession.
Moustafa Ali Ibrahim, 37, and Mohamed Sami Mohamed, 38 planned to use the bombs in terrorist attacks.
The bombs have been confiscated and an investigation has been launched.
