Minya prosecutors ordered two men to be placed in custody for 15 days pending investigations into charges of trading in unlicensed firearms.
Mohamed Mohamed Abdel Hamid, 40, and Abdel Salam Attia Baghdadi were arrested with 34 firearms and 1,900 bullets in their possession.
