Two terrorists were killed in a blast that was caused by a bomb they were trying to plant near a police station in Fayyoum on Tuesday.
Police said the bomb went off while the two were trying to plant it.
One of the two was wanted for his alleged role in attacking a police station in Fayyoum in August 2013.
Also in Fayyoum, a policeman was wounded when gunmen riding a bike opened fire at him.
The policeman was heading home from work.
