Two people died of heatstroke in Gharbiya on Monday amid a scorching heat wave hitting Egypt this month, a senior Health Ministry official said.

Mohamed Sharshar, undersecretary of the Health Ministry in Gharbiya, said that nine people were admitted to hospitals suffering from sunstroke.
