Saudi Interior Ministry has said two soldiers in the border guards unit in Najran, Southern the kingdom, were killed in firing across borders with Yemen.
A border guards patrol came under fire from across the Yemeni borders, a spokesman said.
The two were identified as soldiers Hussein Mahdi al Kareth and Ali Ibrahim al Khalidi.
The border region between the two Arab countries witness clashes between the Saudi border guards forces and both the Houthis and forces of ousted Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
