Prosecutor General Hisham Barakat has decided to refer 21 terrorist and Takfiri elements, including 12 fugitives, to Giza Criminal Court over violence charges.
The defendants are accused of forming a terrorist cell and participating in violent acts.
They also tool part in bombings, targeting police and army troops, attacking foreign diplomats with a purpose of undermining Egypt's national security.
