As many as 22 Daesh fighters were killed in a military operation conducted in the Iraq's western governorate of Anbar, the Iraqi army said Friday.
Meantime, US-led jets killed and injured dozens of the extremist militants in an airstrike launched in Anbar.
The attack inflicted damage to their vehicles before they re-assaulted one of the freed villages from Daesh's control.
