The Armed Forces carried out attacks against three hideouts of terrorist elements in North Sinai, said Army Spokesman Mohammad Samir.

The attacks targeted the districts of Ubeidat, Kharouba and Shadaydah in Sheikh Zuweid.

The army troops killed 22 terrorists during the raids which were conducted upon a tip-off on the terrorists' hideouts.

Meanwhile, border guards seized a number of arms and ammunition in Rafah city before they are delivered to the terrorist elements.
