Twenty-two members of "Ajnad Misr" terror organization were referred Sunday to Giza Criminal Court over charges of carrying out terror acts in a number of governorates, including explosions that took place in the vicinity of the High Court and the cabinet HQ.
The referral was made by First Attorney General for Supreme State Security Prosecution Counselor Tamer Fergani.
The defendants are also facing charges of premeditated murder, illegal possession of arms and ammunition as well as joining a terrorist group aiming at disrupting the country's national security and public order.
