About 22 Palestinians were wounded after Israeli forces and settlers stormed Al Aqsa Mosque Monday .

The injured were hit by rubber-coated metal bullets and sound bombs. Some journalists were also targeted by sound bombs during the clashes.

The mosque is now under military blockade, while small numbers of settlers are attacking it.
