Matrouh Security Chief Anany Hamouda said that 22,012 Egyptian came back from Libya via Salloum border crossing during the last two weeks.
In statements on Friday, Hamouda pointed to a decline in the number of Egyptians returning from the Arab country over the past two days.
Strict measures have been taken to face any emergencies or developments in the Libyan territories, Hamouda noted.
