As many as 226 fugitives and wanted criminals were arrested in the governorate of Gharbia, head of Gharbia security directorate Nabil Abdel Fattah said on Friday.

This came during a wide-scale campaign across the province.

Some 20 cold weapons and one firearm were seized during the campaign.
