As many as 23 conscripts were wounded Wednesday while they were heading to the camp of the security forces to practise their training northern Luxor.

Luxor Security Chief Hossam el Manawy received a notification about the accident.

The car, transporting the conscripts, hit a truck causing its overturn.

The wounded conscripts were rushed to Luxor International Hospital. Meanwhile, the driver of the truck was arrested.

The general prosecution was notified to open a probe.
