Some 23 persons were wounded in a multi-vehicle collision on the international coastal road early Thursday, said head of the Egyptian Ambulance Organization Ahmed el Ansari.
The accident involves two microbuses and a retailer, he said.
So far, no deaths have been reported.
Twelve ambulances rushed to Amriya area where the accident took place, he said.
Wounded sustained fractures and bruises.
