As many as 235 people including Sudanese were arrested while attempting to sneak into Libya across the border, according to security authorities.

Two Sudanese persons were among the group which comprised people from several Egyptian governorates. They have been referred to the prosecution.

Egypt does utmost to control its border with war-torn Libya where illegal migrants from African countries do threatening-life bids to travel to Europe via the Mediterranean Sea.
