As many as 24 Daesh militants were killed Thursday and 19 others injured in Anbar province, western Iraq, in airstrikes launched by the Iraqi Air Force.
A meeting by Daesh militants was monitored by an Interior Ministry intelligence cell, which coordinated with the Air Force to target their gathering, a security source said.
Meantime, the US-led fighter jets launched airstrikes against Daesh sites in Mosul city, which witnessed fierce battles between the militants and the Kurdish forces.
