As many as 24 middle leaders of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood were arrested within 24 hours over charges of inciting violence, a security source said.

Also, 11 MB members were arrested over targeting army and police forces along with vital installations, the source added.

They were arrested in Cairo, Giza, Fayyoum, Beheira, Sharqeia and Gharbeia.

Meanwhile, 16 wanted extremists were also arrested nationwide.
