Twenty-five Egyptian nationals arrived at Cairo airport on Sunday after being deported from Saudi Arabia for illegal residence.
The deportees arrived in Egypt aboard a Saudi jet coming from Jeddah. They were inspected by the airport authorities before entering the country to check their criminal record.
After checking their criminal records, the airport authorities found one of those 25 Egyptian deportees was wanted for serving jail sentence.
US authorities also deported one Egyptian national for violating residency permits.
Upon his arrival on board an American flight coming from New York, the Egyptian authorities checked his criminal record and found that he was wanted for serving a jail term.
