Twenty-seven middle-ranking leaders of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group and 22 extremists were arrested over the past 24 hours.
As part of intensive security campaigns, 27-middle ranking leaders of the terrorist Brotherhood group were arrested over charges of attacking public and private properties and inciting hostile acts and violence nationwide.
Also, 16 MB quality operations committees were nabbed.
Meantime, the security bodies arrested 22 extremists and wanted people.
All legal measures have been taken against them.
In December 2013, the government declared the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide.
Most leaders along with thousands of members of the group have been tried and sentenced so far
